What do you want? Not what someone else wants for you or what’s realistic.
What do YOU want? Let's create a vision based on your values, purpose and priorities.
We'll dig deeper - way beyond the initial answer to why you want to lose weight.
Let's get clear on why it's important for you to achieve your health and fitness goals.
Any time your brain perceives that your wants and needs are at risk of not being met, it triggers a stress response. I'll show you how to shift from the threat to challenge response, so you can make empowered choices.
We'll identify the rewards of your existing habits and leverage them to form the five essential hormone-based habits that create the foundation for lasting weight loss.
And I'll show you how to shift your mind from a state of scarcity to one of abundance, the key to making habits stick.
With Joyful Eating, you have a self-care framework to help you create the optimal conditions for a happy and healthy life.
It’s about falling in love with the process, so instead of chasing the outcomes associated with intentional weight loss, the outcomes are simply the eventual by-products.
Before you can become your healthiest self, you'll need to let go of diet rules and beliefs which are dragging you down and actually in direct conflict with the underlying beliefs of Joyful Eating.
Because lasting weight loss doesn't start in the kitchen or the gym. It begins in your mind.

Inside Joyful Eating Circles, you will fully embrace your moxie and finally make the essential shift from chasing outcomes to falling in love with the process so you can savor all the wonderful benefits of joyful eating, including lasting weight loss, a healthier relationship with food, and more!
HAVE YOU EVER WATCHED a baby nursing? I was six years old when my sister, Angela, was born, and I can still remember watching with fascination as my mom breastfed her.
As a baby, my sister had a distinctive cry when she was getting hungry, which, of course, immediately stopped as soon as she latched on to my mother’s breast and started sucking the warm milk from it.
There was focus — a baby’s version of mindful eating.
Mom requested, “No distractions, please.”
Sometimes my sister would hold my mom’s finger — comforting, no doubt.
Safe and warm in my mom’s loving arms, my sister trusted her needs would be met.
And when she was comfortably full, she was done. Full stop. Content and satisfied. No external rules to abide by and certainly no feelings of guilt.
This was joyful eating.
So simple.
Chances are, when you were a baby, you had a similar experience.
And when you look at photos from your past, you probably have birthday celebrations as a child with cake and ice cream and a big smile on your face. You were still enjoying the moments, surrounded by friends and family.
This is why, when I refer to joyful eating, I use the word “rediscover.”
With Joyful Eating, you have a healthy relationship with food, seeking out nutritious food and other activities, like exercise and sleep, to nourish your mind and body because it feels good.
You do this because you love yourself and believe you are worth the effort.
You enjoy eating healthy foods and find eating pleasurable, both alone and in the company of others.
And guess what? You don’t rely on counting calories, limiting carbs, tracking points, strict food rules, or meal plans for the sake of weight loss.
Instead, you listen to your body, paying attention to when you’re hungry, when you’re full, when you’re tired, when you're bored or lonely or angry and frustrated... and you trust and honor what it is telling you to do. You also notice how you feel when you’ve taken care of yourself, and this motivates you to continue.
You don’t associate exercise with eating or weight loss. Instead, you focus on appreciating what your body can do.
You’re free from diet culture, having let go of beliefs that no longer serve you, experiencing no guilt when eating any kind of food or attaching your self-worth to the size and shape of your body.
And eating doesn’t interfere with pursuing other goals in life. Rather, it enhances it.
ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE you to the Joyful Eating Framework, its four pillars — love, nourishment, trust, and gratitude — and the habits and practices of a healthy eater.
This self-care framework makes lasting weight loss easy and inevitable, and it's based on something you already have.
Because the right self-care habits, with some patience and practice, make what's truly important for the health of your brain and body happen automatically.
Imagine you’re looking at the blueprint for not just a house but a home. What would you expect to find? Love, of course!
The first pillar of Joyful Eating is love. In your mind’s eye, picture a bedroom. With love, there’s acceptance instead of self-loathing.
There are healthy boundaries, and we approach life’s struggles with compassion.
Instead of disparaging your body, you cherish your life, your body, your health, and your talents..

Here’s what you get when you enroll in this 12-week program:
Master health coach, author of Thoughts Are Habits Too, certified personal trainer, and host of the Happy & Healthy with Amy podcast.
Also known as the Habit Whisperer, I help people achieve lasting weight loss and build self-care habits so they can create the life they want.
After a decade in the high-tech industry, working at companies like Netscape, Oracle, and Yahoo, I took a chance on myself and pursued my lifelong passion: real health care.
I've been in the health and fitness industry since 2003: first, as the owner of Pacific Heights Health Club in San Francisco, where my team and I helped thousands of clients, and then, as the founder of Moxie Club, a global online coaching business I started in December 2019, where my reach has expanded across the US, as well as Canada, Australia, and Western Europe.

Each year, over 44 million Americans go on a diet. But dieting isn't the helping people lose weight. Dieting is actually making the problem worse, and you know this from personal experience.
Plus, as Annie Dillard says, "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives."
Life is too short to spend another day on a diet. Let's focus on taking better care of ourselves from a place of self-love and create the right habits, hormone-based habits, that make lasting weight loss easy and inevitable.
It’s YOUR time and YOUR year to create deep health - not just to improve your physical health, but your mental and emotional health as well.
There is room for you at the table. 😉 And I’m here to support you on your health and happiness journey.
